In our November Meeting, RSC Members share their annual reports. These are published in the appendix to the Minutes and used by the RSC Chair and Secretary when they are drafting the RSC's Annual Report. 

In last night's Public Session, Technical Team Liaison Officer Chris Holden (pictured) introduced the Technical Working Group's Discussion Paper on Soft-deprecated Parallel Elements which is now out for Community Review. 

In last night's Public Session, the Chair of the Extent Working Group, Thomas Brenndorfer (pictured), introduced the 8 proposals that the Working Group has submitted for discussion in the Public Session of the January 2026 Meeting on Wednesday 21 January 2026 at 19:00 - 21:00 UTC.

At the Executive Session of the RSC November Meeting yesterday, RSC Chair Renate Behrens extended a very warm welcome to Jack Ennis Butler (pictured), who is attending his first meeting this week as RSC Representative for Oceania.

RDA Examples Editor Jessica Grzegorski (pictured) and her colleagues in the RBMS RDA Editorial Group have announced the publication of the RBMS Policy Statements (RBMS PS) in the RDA Toolkit. 

The RSC Chair and Secretary were very sad to hear from ORDAC Chair Michela Goodwin that Charlotte Christensen is having to step down from the RSC to focus on her health.

The latest release to RDA Toolkit took place on October 9 and includes to changes the wording of authorized and preferred access points across all entities. There are corrections and fixes based on feedback submitted to RDA Toolkit and changes to the Guidance chapter on Aggregates.

A Spanish language translation of official RDA is now available in the RDA Toolkit.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Robert L. Maxwell as RSC Chair Elect. 

At our July Meeting, the RDA Steering Committee was pleased to welcome for the first time the RSC Representative for Latin America and the Caribbean, Filiberto Felipe Arellano.
