In the Executive Session of the RDA Steering Committee last night, the following dates were agreed for our meetings in 2026:

Monday 19 - Thursday 22 January

The Public Session has been scheduled for Wednesday 21 January 2026 at 19:00 - 21:00 UTC. There is a handy time converter here.

Monday 27 - Thursday 30 April

The Public Session will take place on Tuesday 28 April. We will confirm the time in January. (This is because we are expecting a new RDA Board Chair and a new North America Representative to be announced in the New Year, and we want to ensure the time works in their timezone).

Monday 27 - Thursday 30 July

The Public Session will take place on Tuesday 28 July. We will confirm the time in January for the same reason as set out for our April Meeting.

Monday 16 - 19 November

The Public Session will take place on Tuesday 17 November. We will confirm the time in January for the same reason as set out for our April Meeting.

As always, the RSC Secretary will issue a call for observers to register as an observer closer to the time of each meeting.

Please note: If you are considering submitting a proposal or discussion paper, please aim for the April meeting in the first instance. The agenda for January's Public Session is already full. If you are submitting a proposal / paper for the April meeting, it should be with the RSC Secretary by 28 February 2026 at the very latest and should ideally be based on the February 2026 Toolkit Release. This is to enable it to be considered by the Technical Working Group and then processed by the Secretary while meeting NARDAC's need for 8 weeks to consult on papers and proposals. If you are unsure about what to do and / or when, please do not hesitate to contact RSC Secretary Anne Welsh (pictured) in the first instance - RSCsecretary@rdatoolkit.org. The agenda for RSC Meetings is set by the RSC Chair and her decision on the timing of discussion of proposals and discussion papers is final.
