February 2026 RDA Toolkit Release

The latest release to RDA Toolkit took place on February 6. It is a relatively small release in terms of changes made by the RSC, but there are new examples and the introduction OLAC(On-line Audiovisual Catalogers) Best Practices. Updates were also made to policy statements from the British Library, Library Archives Canada, Library of Congress/Program for Cooperative Cataloging, National Library of New Zealand, and RMBS. Updates to the Finnish and Spanish language translation will follow this month, as will policy statement updates in Finnish and French. 

This release is the first of 2026. The next release is scheduled for July.
