The RDA Steering Committee (RSC) seeks a qualified library professional with expertise in RDA and cataloging to take on the role of RDA Examples Editor for a two-year term.
The RSC made a commitment to the library community during the 3R Project that any existing element in original RDA would be retained as long as it did not conflict with the IFLA Library Reference Model (LRM).

The RDA Board and the RDA Steering Committee met for the first time in person since 2019. Their meetings took place between 15-19 May at ALA Headquarters, Chicago.
The RDA Steering Committee (RSC) welcomes invitations from institutions that may be interested in hosting its next in-person meeting. The RSC proposes to meet for 3-4 days during the period of 16-19 October 2023.
As announced on the RDA Toolkit, The RDA Board in consultation with the Copyright Holders of RDA have determined that a hard date for the removal of the original RDA Toolkit website is needed. This determination was made against a backdrop of giving user communities plenty of time for planning in their transition to official RDA.
