At its upcoming Public Session on 8 April, the RSC will be discussing a proposal from NARDAC which seeks to accommodate a range of numbers that are associated with a given name and that are an integral part of the name.
During its Executive Session on 21 January, the RDA Steering Committee joined RSC Chair Renate Behrens in congratulating Charlotte Christensen on her appointment for a second term as Oceania Representative.
At its Public Session on 22 January, the RSC was grateful to welcome Michaela Edelmann and Mathias Manecke from the DNB (Deutsche Nationalbibliothek) to demonstrate the RDA Dach Manual.
At its January Meeting, the RSC was pleased to officially welcome its new Technical Team Liaison Officer, Christopher Holden. This role is always selected from amongst the members of the Technical Working Group, and serves concurrently as RSC Technical Working Group Chair.
At its January Meeting the RDA Steering Committee approved the publication of the Minutes of its Meeting held in November 2024 at the American Library Association Washington Office and the Library of Congress (RSC/Minutes/483-499).
Following approval from the RDA Board at its December Meeting and from the RSC at its November Meeting, the White Paper Considering AI in the Growth of RDA has been published as RSC/Papers/2025/1.
