The March 2022 release is the first since migration of the RDA Toolkit to new servers in January 2022. It includes updates to policy statements from the Library of Congress - Program for Cooperative Cataloging, the British Library and Music Library Association Best Practices.
The agenda for the 11-14 April 2022 RSC asynchronous meeting has been posted.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to accommodate observers at RSC asynchronous meetings due to software constraints.
Because this meeting is entirely in Executive Session, there will be no public minutes to follow.
The quarterly meeting schedule for the RDA Steering Committee for 2022 is shown below. The meetings are held asynchronously using Basecamp software. Agendas and supporting materials are posted on the RSC website three weeks before the meeting begins. Minutes are posted on the RSC website following the meeting.
The RDA Steering Committee (RSC) is seeking a qualified library professional to fill the role of RSC Secretary.
The RSC Secretary provides administrative support to the international RDA Steering Committee (RSC), creates and preserves the official records and reports of the RSC, and serves as the primary content management system editor of RDA.
The recent migration of RDA Toolkit to new servers also included a change in the authentication system for the website.

The issues related to the recent site migration are now largely resolved. The site migration also included a switch to new authentication service, and as a result some practices will be altered. These new practices are described below.

Unfortunately we have encountered several unexpected problems with the server migration. I apologize for how these problems have negatively affected users work and events. I did want to give everyone a detailed run down of the issues we are facing and the current status of our attempts to resolve these issues.
