We have added a new series of videos on the RDA Toolkit YouTube channel called RDA Concepts. These are brief videos intended as an introduction to some key concepts in RDA.
With many catalogers and metadata specialists working remotely these days, some may find that they have a bit more time on their hands and have an inkling to dive into a topic that has been put off for awhile. This might be an opportune time to dive into the 3R project and the beta RDA Toolkit.

As we move closer to the completion of the 3R Project and the December switchover of the beta site, we would like to reinforce our continued commitment to collecting community feedback on the redesigned RDA Toolkit, and our support service during this period of transition. Toward that end,

The RDA Toolkit YouTube channel has a lot to offer to RDA Toolkit subscribers and the RDA curious. There are recordings of presentations, introductions to new RDA concepts, and training videos for the redesigned Toolkit.
During this period of concern about the COVID-19 virus, more and more people are working at home or at some other remote location while their institution is closed. Fortunately, RDA Toolkit is accessible to anyone with an Internet connection and a subscription. Now seems like a good time to remind our users how to access RDA Toolkit remotely.
The Full draft of RDA for constituency review was published in 2008.
On February 7th a new minor release was published to the beta RDA Toolkit. The release is almost entirely comprised of fixes to the functionality of the site, including corrections to the Citation numbering service and search, and adjustments to improve the performance of the user-created content tools (bookmarks, notes, and documents).
The RDA Toolkit Workshop: A Crash Course was held twice (morning and afternoon sessions) on Friday, January 24th at the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel.
