On behalf of the whole RDA Steering Committee and the observers at last night's Public Session, RSC Chair Renate Behrens would like to thank Aimee Hay (National State Libraries Australasia) for her pre-recorded presentation on the NSLA Official RDA Project.

It is really interesting to see the federal, country-wide approach that is being taken, and we particularly liked hearing about the presence of First Nations representation at all levels of this project. ORDAC has a strong track record in improving the text of RDA to meet the needs of the First Nations, and it is good to hear about First Nations involvement in the implementation of Official RDA. We look forward to more proposals to improve RDA in the fullness of time.

If you missed Aimee's presentation yesterday, or if you would like to watch it again, ALA Digital Reference has published it on the RDA Toolkit YouTube Channel: NSLA Official RDA Project - YouTube. We have also updated our Implementing Official RDA webpage with the link to this presentation.
