RSC Chair Elect Robert L. Maxwell (pictured) and RDA publisher James Hennelly are looking forward to speaking with colleagues from Oceania next week in a webinar that will repeat the presentation from yesterday's webinar at a time we hope is accessible for colleagues with questions about the transition from Original to Official RDA.

The National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa was the first Anglophone library to implement Official RDA and has been generous in sharing its training materials. NLSA (National and State Libraries Australasia) is leading the Australia-wide RDA Project, and has shared progress reports showing that they are well on their way through the transition from Original to Official RDA. Presentations from both New Zealand and Australia have featured in previous RSC Public Sessions, with links available in the Implementing Official RDA page

James and Robert are looking forward to hearing from cataloguers in the region, and from others whose time zone means this iteration of the webinar fits their schedule:

Wednesday 27 May 2:00am UTC | midday in Sydney | 2:00pm in Wellington (There is a handy time converter here).

Free; register here to receive the webinar link.

The recording will be made available on the RDA Toolkit YouTube Channel as soon as practicable after the event.

RSC Chair Renate Behrens sends her apologies: 2:00am UTC is 4:00am in Frankfurt. Renate, James and Robert would like to thank ORDAC and the RSC Representative for Oceania Jack Ennis-Butler for their assistance in and enthusiasm for organising this webinar.
