RSC Public Session, Tuesday 17 November 2026

RSC Chair Renate Behrens (pictured) is looking forward to welcoming observers to the final Public Session under her chairmanship.

As always, the RSC is grateful to all the members of the wider RDA cataloguing community who took the time to feedback to these proposals. The summary documents of the first four are available now, and the Secretary is working on RSC/TechnicalWG/2026/6/Summary ahead of the meeting. As Technical Team Liaison Officer Chris Holden expected, RSC/TechnicalWG/2026/6 prompted a wide range of responses from the community, and he hopes that we can reach a resolution to the issue of the soft-deprecated terms in the November Meeting.

In the Public Session, the RSC will formally receive annual reports from each of its members and Working Groups. The full agenda (including the Executive Session agenda) will be published close to the start of the meeting and will include the annual reports that the Secretary has received in advance.

For now, we are publishing the agenda of the Public Session, so that observers know what they can expect on 16 November 2026 at 7:00-9:00pm UTC (There is a handy time converter here).
