Introduction to RDA: a Webinar Series for African Cataloguers
The RDA Steering Committee is pleased to host an introductory RDA webinar series for African cataloguers. This program will introduce attendees to foundational terminology and concepts found in Resource Description and Access (RDA), an international standard used for cataloguing and bibliographic data creation, and that is based on the IFLA Library Reference Model.
This program will be presented in two parts:

Trainer: Elisa Sze, Education and Orientation Officer, RDA Steering Committee and Metadata Librarian at the University of Toronto, in Toronto, Canada.
This program is free to attend but registration is required. Attendees do not need to have prior experience with RDA, though familiarity with local cataloguing practices would be beneficial.
When possible, this webinar will include opportunities for audience interaction; a working microphone or keyboard is therefore recommended. Screen and video captures might also be made by the RDA Steering Committee.
