RDA-L is experiencing problems and messages to the list serve are not being received. We are aware of the issue and looking into it. Thank you for your patience.

Hello all,

Apologies for not getting an update out sooner. We have had some back and forth with our vendor about the performance of the list. What has become clear from these discussion is that the vendor cannot adapt their software to meet the needs of this list. I am actively seeking out a new hosting service for RDA-L, but it will take a little time to find a new host and transition the data over. In the interim, we can continue to use this list with the understanding that the performance will be spotty. Emails will not always go out, and when you notice an interruption to service, you should log into to ALA Discussion Lists and check the RDA-L archive where all submissions have been captured. I will be notified when the service is interrupted, and you should be assured that I am working to restore regular service.

Again my apologies for this regrettable disruption to service, especially at a time when there is so many important discussion to have about RDA. We will work hard to permanently fix this situation.
