This day-long event will provide an in-depth update on the RDA Toolkit Restructure and Redesign, also known as the 3R Project. ALA Publishing representatives will share a sneak preview of the redesign, covering all aspects of the new site (display, navigation, profiles, revisions, etc.). Members of the RDA Steering Committee and other experts will discuss new approaches to key cataloging issues with presentations on attributes as relationships, recording names and access points, and treatment of serials. The event will include numerous opportunities for audience feedback and discussion. The RDA Update Forum on Saturday, February 10th will offer an abridged overview of the progress of the 3R project and is free to all conference attendees; however, this ticketed pre-conference event will go into much greater detail and allow attendees to share their thoughts on the direction of the project. Lunch will be provided. More details to come.
