RDA Webinar Series from the RDA Mexico Group

The RDA Mexico Group under sponsorship of the National Autonomous University of Mexico has organized the “RDA Webinar Series: RDA Concepts” for Spanish speaking catalogers. Its objective is to introduce participants with the essential RDA terminology and concepts on RDA for transitioning to Official RDAToolkit. The RDA series began in June but will run throughout November 2026, twice episodes each month. Felipe Martinez coordinates the series where speakers will be RDA Mexico Group member. Through ten episodes different concepts will be approached, among them Entities, Elements, Domain and Range, Nomen, Element Labels, and Vocabulary Encoding Schemes. Spanish speaking attendees will have access to structured, and practical examples from RDA Toolkit Spanish translation. This webinar series will be delivered through Zoom platform and will include opportunities for audience interaction. Participation is free but requires signing up for each session.
