The ALA Midwinter Meeting and Exhibits will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from January 24th to 28th, and there will be plenty of activities for those with an interest in RDA and updates on the 3R Project. of particular note are three events organized by the members of the North American RD
RDA Toolkit is hosting a preconference workshop at the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Philadelphia. The workshop aims to demystify the beta site and prepare catalogers for the future transition to the updated standard. New terms and concepts will be explained and their understanding reinforced through hands-on exercises.
RDA is bringing back the New Concept series that debuted last July. The series is part of the RDA Online Orientation Project that provides an introduction to the many changes to RDA and RDA Toolkit introduced during the 3R Project.

With the April and September 2019 releases to the RDA Toolkit beta site, the RDA text has been stabilized and the site has met project goals for accessibility and revision reporting. This wraps up 3R work on the English language version of the standard and the site.
