Get Your Bookmark! Our icon menu bookmark was a big hit at the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Dallas. We managed to hand out almost our entire supply. If you weren't able to snatch one up, you can get one here. Simply print out this pdf, preferably on card or cover stock, letter-sized paper, then cut along the guides to create four bookmarks. You can also read more about what happened at the Midwinter Meeting on our blog.
The next Virtual User Group is set for February 15, 2012. The meeting will address recent enhancements to RDA Toolkit, development issues currently in work, and an open discussion of priorities for future development. REGISTER HERE.
The January 10 RDA Toolkit release included a significant improvement to chapter loading times, the introduction of icons to the user interface, extensive revisions to the Help Guide, and an update to Library of Congress Policy Statements. Full details of the release are available on the Development Blog.
The January edition of RDA Toolkit Essentials is now available in our archive, as well as slides from the presentation. The next RDA Toolkit Essentials will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at 2:30 pm (CDT; GMT -5).
NEWS: Chris Oliver has been selected as copy editor of RDA. In this role she will address the recommendations that arose from the recent U.S. RDA Test. "The Plan for the Rewording of RDA and the Role of the Copy Editor" is available for public viewing.
We’ve extended the double-user offer that allows you to Subscribe or Renew at any site license level to the RDA Toolkit and get double the purchased number of concurrent users at no additional charge. (For example, buy a 2-user site license and get a 4-user license for the same price.) This special offer is now good through August 31, 2012, and includes renewals as well as new subscriptions placed before that date!
