The inaugural meeting of the RDA Toolkit Virtual User Group was held online at 9:30am CST on October 5, 2011. Troy Linker, Publisher of ALA Digital Reference, led the meeting. Mr. Linker reviewed recent enhancements to RDA Toolkit, including the index, table of contents, and MARC and RDA Linking. Upcoming enhancements were demonstrated, including RDA instruction number sorting of search results and improved page loading times. Finally, Mr. Linker introduced the Development blog, which will inform users of the development plans for RD Toolkit and allow them to comment on those plans. Questions were taken throughout the session.
