The RDA Examples have been updated to reflect changes in the RDA instructions and the MARC 21 bibliographic and authority formats. Some examples have been replaced, and a few new examples have been added. These examples show an RDA element set view and a MARC encoding view of bibliographic and authority records. The examples are freely available to all. No subscription to RDA Toolkit is required to access and download the examples.
There is something new and notable on RDA Toolkit today. We have added full MARC record examples of RDA cataloging. These examples were created by the Joint Steering Committee for Development of RDA (JSC) and fulfill one of the requests that arose from the U.S. RDA Test. Click here to access the examples. The link will lead you to two PDF files, one containing examples of authority records and one with bibliographic records. Both files are bookmarked to allow for quick navigation of the documents.
